The design of the receiver is based on [[http://www.lll.lu/~edward/edward/adsb/VerySimpleADSBreceiver.html|Edward's ADS-B Receiver]].
We've found suitable SAT tuners but the system is designed around a "hardware bug" in those specific tuner models which we decided was not a good basis for a stable system.
We're using [[project:hgg:adsb_receiver:miniADSB]] instead now.
