up: Project HGG ====== Project: HGG - FUNcube Sat Receiver ====== We have one FUNcube Dongle Pro v1.1 on loan from @ansi. The receiver is a SDR unit capable of being tuned between 64MHz and 1.7GHz. There's control software for the tuner, amps and filters of the receiver. The tuner itself will register as a sound card and capturing data is done using the usual means of audio recording. Decoding is entirely software based. Note: the funcube dongle is not suitable to receive ADS-B frames since the shortest pulses are 0.8us which is far below what can be sampled at 96kHz. ===== Software ===== * Official tuner software + Spectravue (Windows, tested, working) * Qthid Linux tuner control software + Linrad (Linux, tested, working) * GNU Radio w/ FUNCube * Official GNU Radio Getting Started Guide * Ubuntu oneiric gnuradio is not working properly yet, grc fails to start. * Quisk SDR
